INCREDIBLE, slow to begin and lucky to find room when improving her position, closed with a rush. RUSH PLAY came from well back. AVIRAB raced on the inside in the drive. GRIDIRON, goim: in his best form and in close quarters early, improved his position through the field, wore down HAP MACK when inside the final eiehth and won drawing away. WOODEN INDIAN, slow to begin and outiun early, worked bis way forward steadily, came to the outside for the drive and closed with a rush. GREY DOG. in close quarters for a half mile, dropped back entering the stretch, came again, but tired near the end. HAP MACK, rushed to the front on the outside, drew clear after a quarter, was unable to hold the winner and tired steadily after leading to the final eighth. BELLITAS BABE was outrun. DOUBLE WHiSK, well up and under steadying restraint while racing on the inside, was blocked at the far turn and showed nothing thereafter. TIPSY PUDDING quit.
