sr, ed b® jy e and ld es FOAL ARRIVES FORTY DAYS LATE BONSALL, Calif., June 16.— A baby thor-oughbred saw the light of day at Rancho San Luis Rey near here on June 8. That of itself is not news, as nearly sixty foals have put in an appearance there this spring, or are still to arrive. But the foal in question is a "delayed materilization" that all but gave the foaling attendants apoplexy. For it came just forty days after the date it should have been delivered in the nursery.
