TWINKLE FEET sprinted into a clear lead during the opening quarter, set a good pare under light urginsr. responded to stronger pressure after reaching the stretch and won easily. MONEY GETTER, hustled along from the start, failed to menace the winner, but was much the best of the others. CAVOUR worked his way forward steadily and finished strongly. ROUGH PARTY tired. SHOTTY raced evenly. PAPLAY caused the long delay, began slowly and finished strongly. SIR GEORGE made up ground. WILLOW WAND quit. ABDICATE, never far back and reserved early, moved forward when ready, responded to strong urging when wearing down MADELON LEE and got up in the final stride. The latter sprinted into a good early lead, was under strong pressure after being engaged by the winner and just failed to last. FRANK C. in close quarters early, was forced to the outside approaching the stretch and finished well. XPERT GIRL tired. MISS MASCARA raced on the inside until nearing the stretch and tired.
