1 1 I NORTH RANDALL TURF NOTES | 1 __$ Jack H. Yerian, now serving as paddock judge here, has accepted the appointment as starter at the Lancaster, Ohio, meeting, which begins June 24 and runs for nine days. He leaves for there June 22. Trainer Bud Tiller reports that Term-o-Jean, owned and bred in Texas by Dr. A. J. Blackwell, died of pneumonia she contracted while en route from Fairmount Park. Elmer Thomas, leading apprentice rider of the meeting, is now having his engagements booked by John F. Rector. Rector also solicits mounts for jockey Charles Swain. Latest arrival from Fairmount Park is Harry Plant, who came here with his one-horse stable of Crabtree. Miss Dorothy Pugh has purchased from Mrs. B. A. Murphy the horses Saxon Prince, a seven-year-old, and Saraka, a three-year-old.
