Y., June 16.— Dates for , the mid-summer convention of the National il , Association of State Racing Commissioners s were announced officially today by commissioner 1- John Sloan of New York, presi- i- dent of the nationwide organization of racing 2- states. The convention will be held in n Seattle, Wash., July 28, 29 and 30. It is the eleventh meeting of the association rr and will mark the first get-together of the commissioners in the far West. The Washington Horse Racing Board, consisting J of chairman Edwin J. Brown, past president of the national association; Allen * Drumheller, George Faltico and William F. James, Jr., secretary, are preparing an elaborate program. The convention will be held Id in conjunction with Seattles annual "Pot-latch" t- festival, the Mardi Gras of the ie Pacific Northwest.
