PINDARS PET, on the inside throughout, closed with good courage BID SMITH, apparently in need of the race, gave a good performance. VILLA BANQUET closed strongly. PRETTY NOTE had early speed. POTION, well up most of the wav, failed to respond when subjected to strong pressure. SKY HAVEN tired in the stretch. MARION BARTON had no excuse. NIGRESCENT and BUNGLER could not keep up.
