BALASKFS INJURY SERIOUS INGLEWOOD, Calif., June 16.— Upon close examination by physicians it was reported that jockey Lee Balaski, who was thrown from Lavengro Thursday, had suffered a spinal injury, and the stewards have ordered him taken off all his mounts for Saturday. Balaski will not be able to ride for about one week.
