UPSET MACAW took command early, was steadied while setting the pace, drew out in the stretch and, though bearing out badly, won with something left. SAY LITTLE, slow to settle into stride and taken to the inside in the stretch, closed resolutely, but could not menace the winner. MISS CONTRARY, under mild pressure maintaining her position, responded well when urged, but could not overhaul the first two. TONEYS GIRL failed to keep up in the final stages. DOUBLE BRUSH moved to contention early, dropped back approaching the stretch, rallied to strong riding, but faltered in the final stages. LA ROGERS had no excuse.
