1 LINCOLN FIELDS TURF NOTES I e C. E. Davisons Paulson was called back into the paddock from the first race parade to pick up an additional pound to make his weight conform with the conditions of the event. Paulsons programmed weight was 119 pounds, where it should have been 120. The mistake was not discovered until the horse had left the paddock. The horse won and but for the correction of the error he would have been disqualified out of any part of the purse. Copies of a revised issue of the Arlington Park condition book appeared at Lincoln Fields Friday afternoon and were available in the offices of the racing secretary. H. F. Rieck came in from Ohio with the horses Rosun. Style Corner, Eest Port and Terra Cotta, owned by Mrs. Ruth Bruckner. Dan B. Midkiff, widely known Kentucky breeder and owner, is here for a few days. He came from Detroit and from here will return to his home in Lexington. Jockeys W. E. Snyder and Henry Romaine packed their tacks and headed for Charles Town. Mr. and Mrs. Charles T. Fisher returned to Detroit after a brief visit here. Fisher is master of Dixiana, a division of whose stable is here in charge of Clyde Van Dusen. The Dixiana horses, along with those owned by Van Dusen, are to be shipped to Latonia after the close of the Lincoln Fields meeting. Cliff Huffnagel, an attache of the racing secretarys staff here, returned from North Randall, where he went to do missionary I work in the interest of Latonia stakes, which closed Friday. Huffnagel received many entries for the Latonia features and reported that a number of stables now at the northern Ohio track would take part in the Kentucky meeting opening June 29. H. McCloud registered Dolicia Boy and Cee Jane, which he brought here from Fair-mount Park for J. R. Roth. H. J. Mezen came in from Collinsville with Windsor Rose and Bess Cot. Another to come from Fairmount Park was I. J. Hurgi with Inscolt.
