MOBILE, far out in the track throughout, finished strongly. AMAZEMENT was never dangerous. SOUTHERN MISS had no excuse. CORNELIA POWELL tired in the stretch. The others were outpaced. The latter, a strong factor from the start, took command in the stretch, but could not withstand the winner. GAY KHAN, prominent throughout, held on gamely in the final staaes. LITTLE WICK, away in stride, displayed fine speed in the going, raced extremely wide entering the stretch, but closed gamely. CHARLEY HOSS had no excuse. DARK LASSIE tired in the stretch. The latter improved his position gradually, offered a bold bid, but could not overhaul the winner. MUSICAL JACK, rank at the post, but away well, took command, set the pace under mild reserve, offered good contention when challenged, but was not eood enoueh.
