! DUFFERIN PARK TURF NOTES * § — __ Jockey P. Remillard departed for Detroit to handle G. H. Ellis Traffic Light in his engagement at the Fair Grounds. He will return to Dufferin Park after fulfilling the engagement. Jockey F. Collins reported sick to clerk of . the scale J. J. Farrell and cancelled his engagements for Wednesdays racing. The association added 00 to the value of the sixth race on Wednesday, bringing the total value to 00. The Ccsgrave stables Historic Era struck himself while being blown out at Long Branch and wa3 excused from the fifth event Wednesday upon the advice of the veterinarian. Miss Argue, of the customs department of Harper and Company, will be on hand at Dufferin Park Thursday morning to assist horsemen who are transferring horses in bond from their territory. Jockey N. Foden suffered a leg injury and cancelled his mounts for Wednesdays racing. F. T. Butler is taking a contract on jockey T. Barker for the balance of the Canadian season. The secretarys office at the Hamilton = Jockey Club will be opened on Thursday ay morning for registration of horses and nominations m for the opening day handicap. G. F. Potter was granted permission to add dd blinkers to the equipment of the plater St. St. Lochiel. Acting for Miss D. McCann, trainer T- T. McCann purchased the six-year-old gelding ng Jacksnipe from Mrs. M. Vernon.
