Jockey Pete McLean, who sustained a broken collarbone at Oaklawn Park, last spring, was under colors Tuesday, for the first time since the accident. He was astride Red Moss, the horse, incidentally, from which he was thrown. J. Graham Brown, owner of the Brown Hotel Stable, came up from Louisville, for two days of racing. He was accompanied by Harold E. Harder, manager of the Brown Hotel, in Louisville. David Straus, retired Cincinnati business man, was at Lincoln Fields Tuesday to see his colors carried in the first race by Catherine F. She ran third. The Milky Way Farm stable is being transferred to Arlington Park by trainer Roy Waldron, in two sections. The first division leaves here Thursday and the other on Sunday. R. C. Groff is shipping Forever Prince, Supreme Flag, Sue Harpen and Well Flight to Latonia this week-end. Upon his arrival at the Covington track, Groff will take over Miss Harriett and Lemoiges. Larry Bogenschutz, placing judge at Lincoln Fields, will head for Latonia and a similar position this week-end. Cliff Porter is transferring his public stable to Arlington Park. Included in the shipment is C. H. Clearys Flying Lill, winner of the Kentucky Oaks.
