Jockey Ned Merritt was none the worse for his experience when he fell from Tall Oak, and was able to fill his engagement in the fifth race, which he won with All Lizzie. Trainer E. H. Beezley disposed of another of his horses when he sold the aged Davidor to E. N. Osborne, who turned the horse over to H. A. Vance, who will direct his con- ditioning for future engagements. Terms of the transaction were private. •
