QUICK QUICK, away slowly and allowed to settle in best stride, was steered to the outside for the stretch run and, responding to mild urging, disposed of GLIMMERLEE easily in the final sixteenth. The latter had good speed from the start, was steered out for the better footing in the final quarter, but could not withstand the winner under pressure. MADAM GRAY lacked early speed, finishing stronely. LADY ALL faltered in the final stages. BELLE MORE quit. SLY KITTY bore out on the turns. SEA SHELL and MAID MARIE showed nothine. GOOD DAME, racing in her best form, had good speed from the start and was steadied along rounding the stretch turn, then was taken out for the better footing and responded to strong pressure to wear down STRAPOL and held MISS GOHI safe at the end. The latter, under mild restraint in the early stages and racing wide in the final quarter, finished strongly. STRAPOL moved into command with a rush but tired in the closine: strides. MYSTIC SIGN responded to pressure in the stretch run and closed resolutely on the inside. SWEEP WINE had no mishaps. The others were outrun.
