GREY DOLL raced wide and closed resolutely. NALTCH, away pooily and rushed in the early stages, had nothing left for the tinal di;e. LUCKY LEE had a burst of eaily peed. BLACK RHAPSODY, in close quartan and on the inside in the boor II r looting, was steered out for the final quarter, but failed to respond to pressure. HASTY SUE was outrun. The latter moved around ROUGH LANE turning into the stretch and continued gamely, but could not withstand the winner. ROUGH LANE, hustled from the start, relinquished the lead under pressure and held on gamely thereafter. GENUINE SPORT made a game bid appro acting the final quarter, but tiro I in the final seventy yards. CHESTER ROSE had no mishaps. EDIFICATION and PERFECT ONE were outrun.
