June 21.— Harry ry Gonder, 25-year-old professional, gave up ip early today after failing in almost seven- ri- 1 teen hours of continuous effort to score a a holc-in-one. Gonder began his marathon at 10 10 a. m. yesterday to win a 5 friendly wager er from William Voltz, "duffer" golfer, who io scored an ace on the tenth hole some weeks ks ago.
