GALECO. slow to begin and in close quarters eaily, was steered to the outside of the leaders approaching the stretch, responded to strong urging and got up in the final stride. LILTING, rushed to the front, drew clear after a quarter, was put to strong urging when challenged and just failed to last. FRANCINE C, hustled along from the start, tired. MISS TAD. squeezed back on the far turn, came again when clear and finished well. IMPERIAL LU tired. DOMIWORTH made up ground. BLUE GROTTO was unable to keep up. UPHOLD, rushed to the front on the inside, drew clear after a quarter, responded well while being permitted to pursue a weaving course in the stretch and won easily. SNOW FLOWER, lucky to find room when racing forwardly, was steered to the inside of the winner in the stretch, failed to menace her, but was much the best of the others. HALF SHOES dropped back soon after the start, worked bis way forv.ardlv on the outside and closed with a rush. CANT CATCH finished stronely. LINDEN WAY tired. FAST WORK raced wide and showed little. PRINCESS BYRD was done after a "half mile. TIPSY PUDDING dropped back soon after the start and was done after a quarter. Overweight — Princess Byrd, 2 pounds. SEVENTH RACE 1 1-16 MILES. SUN WINE came over sharply at the lower turn, was blocked when attempting to get through on the inside and held on well. POVERTY BAY tired. SEMESTER and CACTUS JACK were outrun. The latter worked his way forward steadily, took command near the final quarter, was unable to withstand the winner, but held on gamelv. MANNERLY, taken back repeatedly during the opening three quarters, made up ground in the drive. ABBOTS HOUR, hustled from the start, tired in the drive. STROLLING HOME tired. KENTUCKY EAGLE quit.
