E. Martin, leaves here Saturday for Arlington Park. Martin, who hails from the Chicago area, plans remaining in the Windy City vicinity the balance of the summer. Apprentice E. K. Sylvia, who came here with the Norman "Butsey" Hernandez sta ble. left today for North Randall. Arriving from Philadelphia, Lucky Teter, who has a large stable here in charge of L. H. Silver, expects to remain until Friday. Teter, who is a dare-devil automobile driver, is returning to Philadelphia where his show is giving weekly performances. Acting for J. T. Clayman, trainer Robert Heinen purchased Sequoia from Mrs. Ed McCuan. Imperial Sir, good handicap performer which sports the silks of Mrs. Edith L. Mar-j tin, of Detroit, was turned over to Joe Baumbach to train. The horse was formerly conditioned by J. P. Watts. Little Drift, Onaboy, Surprise Box and Witan will be transferred to Arlington Park Saturday by trainer C. J. Martin, who has the horses here for Mrs. M. E. Martin, of Chicago. The four-year-old Chanceful and the two- year-olds Twinker and Lucky Rose„ which were formerly trained by J. P. Watts, were turned over to R. W. McMillan to train for Mrs. Edith L. Martin. Joe Molbert rode Wednesday for the last time with his apprentice allowance. The Louisiana rider lost his five-pound allow- ance with the running of the Wednesday program. Headed by the good handicap horse Ber-3 nard F.. Al Miller plans on invading Saratoga with his useful stable after the close of the local season. Others in the I. J. Collins stable Miller intends taking to New York are Pehamis. Barna, Dale K.t Flying Up, Hargi am and the two-year-olds Flying Bob bie, Kremalia, Kenneth K. and Darby Dallas. Pat Remillard, veteran Canadian rider, came down from Toronto and accepted sev-8 eral mounts. Hy Sonny pulled up lame after his engagement Tuesday. The track veterinarian advised trainer H. Torriente the horse would not be permitted to start until the fivc-year- old son of High Time was in fit condition to race. The Superior Farms Bobs Boys arrived from Chicago. Bobs Boys is nominated for the ,500 Cadillac Handicap, to be run here Saturday. H. H. Temple, Jr., young Kentucky conditioner, will ship the eleven head he has here for various owners, to Latonia Saturday. Apprentice B. Easterlin accepted his first mount of the meeting Wednesday. Easterlin, who is under contract to H. D. Cox, rode Oddesa Boy in the first race. ! Elmer Dubble added Parity and Izaak I Walton to his list. The horses, the. property 1 of A. J. Halliwell, Canadian sportsman, were shipped here recently from Toronto.
