ZOR, hustled into contention and taken under steadying reserve, was forced to race wide while bettering i j his position, overhauled the leaders, then responded to punishment to outfinish RIBALD. The latter took I command without need of pressure, set the pace under mild reserve, repulsed several challenges, but could not withstand the winner. PARAVANT, a strong factor throughout, held on with good determination under punishment. HIGH DIVER closed a good gap. TRUMONT tired in the stretch. BLOW AWAY had no excuse. The others were outrun. NELLIE QUINCE, slow to get going, moved up stoutly approaching the stretch, overhauled the leaders and drew clear. BLIND HOPE, never far back, moved to the front with a rush to attain a good lead, but tired in the final stages. HAREM QUEEN closed resolutely under pressure. TRACE BOY took command early but failed to respond to pressure when challenged. DO IT, away in a tangle, was rushed to contention and forced the pace most of the way, but tired badly when urged for improved speed. SAY LITTLE was through early. The others were outpaced.
