Miss Diamond and Gay Water Winning "Daily Double" Combination — Nautch Disappoints Followers. CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 21.— The little Chicago jockey, Alex Schlenker, continued his brilliant riding here at North Randall this afternoon as he won the opening race on Miss Diamond to rack up his nineteenth victory of the meeting. Before a fine week-day turnout and under scorching sun, the little fellow booted the three-year-old miss to a length and one-half triumph, demonstrating his sterling ability as a rider. Second behind Miss Diamond at the end of the six-furlong event was Jay McNamaras Sir Isaac, with third place going to George B. McCameys Grey Doll. Jockey Schlenker rode confidently throughout to get Miss Diamond, a daughter of Morvich — Unconcerned, an easy winner. She paid her supporters a return of 3.00. C. Werlines Nautch, a seven-year-old gelding, was installed the favorite but finished no better than a driving fourth. BREAKS FAST. Miss Diamond broke alertly in second place and then surged toward the leading Lucky Lee and Swale as the field of eight racers careened up the back stretch. Under slight urging of jockey Schlenker, she moved up between the two leaders, to reach the front after a courageous duel with them. Once in front with his mount, jockey Schlenker rated her skilfully over the "good" track, with never any opposition challenging the flying Miss Diamond. Sir Isaac, handicapped by a poor start, made up his lost ground gradually, finding his way through the field and then came with a fine rush in the stretch to grab second place, but could not threaten Miss Diamond. Grey Doll, another affected by the start, circled her field to get up a length ahead of Nautch and capture the show award. It was the second victory of the year for R. E. Plemmons Miss Diamond. The winning "Daily Double," comprised Miss Diamond in the first and Gay Water the second, returned 6.80. A
