I EMPIRE CITY TURF NOTES a Jimmy Kilroe left for Saratoga Springs to assist Jack Campbell in the acceptance of entries for the opening day. Charles W. Denniston, a veteran racing follower and enthusiast, arrived from Rochester, N. Y., for the last day of the meeting. Humbert Fugazy was among the -afternoons visitors and discussed puglistic matters with many of the regulars. Phil Reuter tendered his resignation as trainer of the Longchamps Farms, effective at the conclusion of this meeting.
