Washington Parks opening day feature, the ,500 South Chicago Handicap, six furlongs sprint for three-year-olds and upward, drew eighteen when entries closed Friday, racing secretary Charles J. McLennan made known today. Top weight, 118 pounds, was assigned Wool-ford Farms Joe Schenck. A field of twelve or more is expected to go to the post Monday.
