I ROCKINGHAM PARK NOTES S 3 Count Cotton changed hands after the running of the fourth race, going to Leach and Fournier for ,500. L. B. Mayer lost a member of his string via the claiming route when Mrs. N. Pa-lumbo deposited the necessary ,500 to acquire Lady Ariel out of the fifth race Thursday. Jockey Lucas Dupps will depart Friday for Arlington Park to ride Arnold Hangers "Roman Flag in the Arlington Futurity on Saturday at the Chicago course. Dupps will travel by train. Condition books for the Marshfield Fair meeting were distributed at Rockingham Park. The Marshfield Fair runs for six days beginning Aug. 21 and continuing to the 26th. Gordon Morrow, former rider, is racing secretary at the meeting. Weston W. Adams has leased the services of jockey Eddie Robart to Maemere Farm for the Saratoga meeting. Robart departed this morning to join the stable at the Spa. William Zakoor arrived from Detroit with a string made up of Idle Elf and Foxster, which race for H. E. Simpson; Wild Mute, Windsor Chief and Tiny Trick, the property of H. S. Horkeimer, and Strange Times and Zelatone, which race for Mrs. Zakoor. Apprentice Frankie Winn accompanied the shipment. P. S. P. Randolph checked in at Suffolk Downs with a stable of seven. The shipment came from Empire City and plans are to remain in New England for the remainder of the season. Trainer J. A. Boniface transferred the stable of Mrs. R. H. Heighe to Saratoga Springs Friday morning.
