Rampart, a favorite with New Jersey racegoers, frequently has played the role of giant killer admirably and well. Two Lea comes up to the Colonial from a winning performance less than a week ago at Havre de Grace. In the Pink is a stakes winner of last season and cannot be overlooked in the search for the winner of the event. Three of the Colonial aspirants were on the racing strip at Garden State Park this morning. Bullow went a half mile in :48%, breezing. My Celeste went the same distance in identical time, while Two Lea sped a half mile in :49y5, also breezing. Rampart had a private trial on Wednesday, going five furlongs in 1:00%.
