William Gurtin Dies SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 5. — William Gurtin, a groom in the employ of the Valenti Stable, died Wednesday night at McNeil Memorial Hospital, in Chicago, according to trainer Leo Jones. He was 54 years old and death was attributed to a heart ailment. The body will be sent to Louisville, Ky., for burial.
