Haymaker; bred by Viscount Adare. WENT TO POST— 5:40. OFF AT 5:40 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. NEAR MISS, steadied close to the pace and under stout restraint, moved abreast the leader nearing the final quarter of a mile, continued on even terms with TW,0 DAY AIR until the final seventy yards, then edged to the front. TWO DAY AIR set the pace after a half mile, was under steadying restraint and down on the inside when challenged, responded to urging and held on tenaciously. STRIDE WELL raced forwardly throughout, dropped back from the inside position and moved to the outside to close resolutely. F. B. EYE was unable to get through on the inside nearing the far turn and failed to rally when clear. The others were unable to keep up after a half mile.
