CEE RAF, expertly ridden and under nursing restraint while setting the pace most of the distance, disposed of SUN BOUND early, then repulsed FLOS HERBERT and increased his advantage through the final three furlongs to win as his rider pleased. HILL FOX made up distance gradually, loomed dangerously on the final turn, but could not get up. FLOS HERBERT reached command between calls after a mile, then faltered.
