Snooze Has Ninth Foal LEXINGTON, Ky., May 5.— Snooze, a 22-year-old mare belonging to Mrs. F. Ambrose Clark, had her ninth foal at Elsmeade Farm on Monday. The foal, a filly by Rhodes Scholar, is a sister to Scholarship, winner of several stakes and placed in others. She is a half-sister to the stakes winners, Pompeys Pillar, Royal Nap. Slumber Song and Lovely Night. Mrs. Clark sold Lovely Night to Mrs. Marie Moore early last summer for over 0,000. Mrs. Moore is going to breed Gallorette to him this season. Two of Snoozes daughters, both non-winners, have had offspring who were more successful at the races. Lovely Morns first foal was the stake winner. Task, and Pom-peian Way is the dam of Barefoot Boy, Ensign Mary B. and other good winners. Snooze will be bred back to Rhodes Scholar.
