Delegate Among Nominations For 0,000 Crete Handicap SPORTSMANS PARK, Cicero, 111., May 5. — Woolford Farms handsome chestnut sprinter, Delegate, has been nominated for the 0,000 Crete Handicap, opening day feature on the card of the Lincoln Pields-at-Washington Park meeting, according to trainer Johnny Nerud. Delegate has made four starts this season, three of them resulting in victories. The five-year-old gelded son of Maeda — Brides Veil, bred by his owner, Herbert M. 1 Woolf , captured the Seminole Handicap at Hialeah Park in his most recent outing. Eldon Nelson, who has been resting up since early this month, will have the mount on Delegate in the Crete, Nerud stated.
