The majority of the performers who went in the first and second divisions of the Inaugural Handicap are expected to be named for the week-end and holiday fixtures plus several other capable campaigners who have recently arrived upon the scene. J. J. Arps Foxy No Mark, winner of the first division of the opening day handicap, and J. T. Nissings Silver Fire, victor in the second division, are certain to parade postward inr one of the handicaps, as are sucli other stellar performers as Capt. The Flag Lieutenant Purse, one mile and one-sixteenth test designed for intermediate claiming horses, headlines tomorrows card. A small but classy field was named for the afternoons headliner, which should provide interesting sport. Under the conditions of the Flag Lieutenant, A. Gorskys Sage Counsel will be asked to carry the top impost of 117 pounds, but D. W. Franks Petes Playmate, under his modest burden of 106 pounds, in all probability will rule the posttime favorite. Petes Playmate accounted for three victories during 1948 and, since his arrival in the Cornhusker State has been working cleverly and appears to have returned to top form. Rounding out the field are R. Bass Mary-Esther, Gross 8c Barringtons Dis-combobulate, Mr. and Mrs.. J. J. Gregorys Realization, and H. L. Barkers First to Fight.
