I., May 26.— A completely rebuilt, and renovated track restaurant will greet the stable help upon their arrival at Narragansett Park for the summer meeting which opens June 8. The old building in the stable area which dated back to the opening of the track in 1934 has been entirely remodeled. The kitchen contains the latest designed stoves, ovens, broilers and labor-saving devices and is as complete as can be found in any of the nations finest hotels. Clarence M. Electric ovens capable of roasting 20 or more turkeys at one time, broilers to the same number, huge ovens for bread and pastry baking; automatic machines for vegetable peeling, dishwashing; hot water heaters capable of providing water at 180 degrees temperature almost instantaneously, and large refrigerators for meat storage make this kitchen the last word in the culinary field. Approximately , 200 persons can be accommodated at one time and Hockridge estimates he will be called upon to serve some 3500 meals in a 12-hour daily period.
