Omaha Riders Committee AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Neb., May 26.— Bert Thompson, western representative of the Jockeys Guild, visited the local course here yesterday while en route to the West Coast and conferred with the Ak-Sar-Ben reinsmen. Following a brief session, at which jockeys Weldon Armstrong, Alfred Applebee and Victor Bovine were named to represent this sector during the meeting, Thompson will journey on to Portland Meadows. According to Thompson, Ster-" ling Young, president of the Guild and eastern manager, will visit the Ak-Sar-Ben track later in the meeting. ■
