The latter raced forwardly, but lacked a rally when set down for the drive. MAJOR PLAY showed an even effort. TIGER FORE showed nothing while racing on the outside. CHERRY QUEST weakened early. REIGH JANE was not rushed while In the center of the pack early, responded to pressure through the stretch and outgamed SCHOLARSHIP. The latter was always prominent, gained command at the furlong pole and fought it out gamely under strong pressure. DONNA BOORSE, outrun early and in close quarters turning for home, probably was best. FRESH BREEZE also was in close quarters during the stretch run. INTREPID was hard hustled to retain a narrow advantage, but faltered. PUNCHESTOWN was never a threat MR.
