SHINE ON drove between horses at the beginning to settle into a clear lead, then held his advantage thereafter while winning handily. ELMOS CHOICE, racing veil out in the track throughout, gradually made up ground and finished well. EMULATE began alertly, could not keep pace with the winner and bore out slightly on the turns, then finished evenly. LUCKS HERE slipped through on the inside of horses while improving position from a slow beginning and closed, willingly in the drive. CORINTH was a keen early factor and quit. LADY PAM was outrun. Tl CAILLOU began fast, but appeared not to like the footing and quit early. ALWAYS HOME dwelt at the beginning and trailed far behind the field. OKAMSEL was steadied when unable to join the readers from the inside on the first turn, then gradually wore down the top ones while saving ground caused his rider to lose both irons while brushing with GRILLING nearing the finish and drew clear. GRILLING raced BORDEAUX into defeat and opened a clear lead, then had nothing left and drifted out into the winner nearing the end. BOLD WARRIOR gradually improved position from the outside and finished well BORDEAUX was hard pressed to outsprint GRILLING for six furlongs and faltered. SANTAS VIXEN was not a factor FLYING J. LANCASTER LADY was sent forwardly soon after settling m stride, made up distance on the outside and finished determinedly in a good effort DAINTY DISH began in broken stride, then steadily worked way forward between horses and finished well NINTH INNING was a keen early factor, but faltered suddenly roundinq into the stretch. FRAUD had no mishap in an even effort. COLLEEN BAWN began well, but shied and swerved out on the far turn then raced well after regaining stride. MISS DEL BRIER quit. CHICS POLLY began tardily. ANN DEL moved up on the inside rapidly to open a clear lead soon after the start, then held sway evenly while being ridden out to the finish. SQUEAL, av.ay v-eil, was lightly steadied when unable to stay with the winner, then came again when strongly punished for the drive. DONT SCOLD raced wide while a forward factor and could not gain in the final run ■ RE ARENA could not keep up early, came out slightly for the drive and finished well. EVEN RISK gave a gocd efloit. LAVARA faltered. BUZZ A BIT passed tiring horses while saving ground. DR. HIMMY was taken up leavirq the gate. ELOPE was energetically hustled to the front from the inside at the beginning, repulsed a strong challenge from SUN CROWN in the early stretcii then drifted slightly wide under punishment and lasted. HIGH TREND was kept well out in the track *hil. lacking early speed, rallied strongly through the stretch and finished fastest of all. OVEREXPOSED was a keei factor throughout, had to be strongly handled to come to the outside of the winner when the latter drifted out, then finished gamely. ENERGETIC raced on the inside while prominently placed throughout then could not get up at the end. EQUINOX II., away slowly, as usual, moved into a contending position on the inside in the early stretch, then lacked sufficient room at the end.
