Italian Derby to Daumier ROME, Italy, May 11 Reuters*.— The unbeaten Italian horse, Daumier, won the 7,000 Italian Derby by five lengths here Thursday. Starting an odds-on favorite, Daumier, owned by Italys foremost race horse owner, Signor Federico Tesio, beat Doctor Ugo Tudieris Scai with Mantova tSables Gogitor third. Daumier is by Nic-colo Dell Area out of Donatella and is closely related to several top class winners both in Italy and England. He was ridden by E. Clerici.
