j Berg Holds Edge Oyer Babe In Last Weathervane Round WHITE PLAINS, N. Y., May 29 UP.— Patty Berg, of Minneapolis, gets one of her few chances to defeat Mrs. Babe Didrikson Zaharias tomorrow when she tees off for the final .18 holes of the Womens Crosscountry Weathervane golf tournament with a» one-stroke lead on the field. The fourth and final 36-hole leg of the Weathervane was to have been finished Sunday but was postponed until tomorrow because of heavy rain. Miss Berg took the lead by shooting a 76 on last Saturdays 18 holes at the Knollwood Country Club course while Mrs. Zaharias collected a 79. Miss Berg and Mrs. Zaharias have made the Weathervane a two-woman show. The Minneapolis player will take an overall 126-hole total of 528 strokes into tomorrows windup. Mrs. Zaharias, who held a two-stroke margin over Miss Berg after three legs,- will start with a 529. Louise Suggs, of Carrollton, Ga. — their nearest rival — was 13 strokes behind Miss Berg with a 541 after shooting a 77 last Saturday.
