Citation, Coaltown, Bewitch Entered in Argonaut Handicap HOLLYWOOD. PARK, Inglewood, Calif., May 29. — Ten four-year-olds and older horses, three of them belonging to Calumet Farm and two who will race for Clifford Mooers, make up the field for the 5,000 Argonaut Handicap which will highlight tomorrows Memorial Day program at Hollywood Park. The Calumet representatives are Citation, out to score his first victory since he launched his latest comeback campaign and to enhance his already whopping earnings of 39,460, Coaltown and Bewitch, while the two Mooers standard-bearers are Old Rockport, hero of last years running of the Argonaut, and Sudan. The other five awaiting the holiday feature, which is expected to attract a throng of close to 50,000 persons, are A. J. Crevo- lins Be Fleet, Mr. and Mrs. F. N. Phelps Sturdy One, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Smiths Vino Fino, the Owl Stables Last Round and W. E. Chisholms Bullreigh Jr. Most attention in the Argonaut, which is to be contested over a mile and one-sixteenth and will have a gross value of 0,700, will be directed toward Citation who after three sprint races this spring and summer will be performing over a more favored distance for the first time since he inaugurated his present comeback drive. He was timed in each of two six-furlong races this spring at Bay Meadows and on opening day here he raced over the same distance in the Hollywood Premiere. In this latter event, Citation finished out of the money for the first time in his career, but had he not met sharp interference as he was making his move in the homestretch, he probably would have earned some share of the purse.
