Make Arrangements for Annual Belmont Ball Evening of June 1 5 BELMONT PARK, Elmont,. L. I., N. Y., May 29.— Arrangements are" being completed for the annual Belmont Ball, which will be held at the Turf and Field Club here on June 15, the eve of the eighty-third running of the Belmont Stakes. Mrs. Edward P. Hutton of Hutfield, Wheatley Hills, L. I., is chairman of the executive committee, assisted by Mrs. George P. Baker, Sr., Mrs. Walter J. Salmon, Mrs. Harold E. Talbott, Mrs. George D. Widener, Mrs. George E. Roosevelt and Mrs. Ralph J. Hines. The proceeds from the fashionable function will be donated to the womens division of the New -York City Cancer Committee. , The historic Manice House, home of the Turf and Field Club, will be used" for din- ner, and dancing will be in a marquee to be erected on the lawn. Floral decorations will be from the Belmont*Park greenhouses The beautiful grounds of Manice House adjoin the race track paddock. During the dancing period a bronze model of Middleground, last years Belmont Stakes winner, will be auctioned by Speeds Rings. It was sculptured by Mrs. Jere Lord, and is now on display in Manice House.
