Work on Running Strip OCEANPORT, N. J„ May 29.— The running strip at Monmouth Park is undergoing a complete face-lifting. The top surface has been picked up and thoroughly screened, before being replaced, and all stones and other foreign objects are being removed. The track will be ready in ample time for the anticipated arrival of thoroughbreds at the seaside track later this month.
