QUICK CASH headed the field after going a short distance and, drawing away around the stretch turn, was not in danger in the last sixteenth, winning easily. SUPERWOLF lacked much early foot, but came fast In the stretch to best BOLO HOWIE. The latter moved up* well after rounding the stretch turn and raced in fairly creditable fashion to the end. DELHANNAH was unable to keep up with the early leaders and failed to be a serious factor. BIT 0 PROSE weakened after going half the distance. GOLD DENARIUS dashed to contention on the inside in the first eighth, but had little left for the stretch test. RED SKIN RAN AWAY ABOUT ONE MILE WHEN EN ROUTE TO THE POST AND WAS ORDERED WITHDRAWN. TECHNICOLOR was never far from the pace and, although going rather wide in the stretch, was clearly best of the others. FAIR PORTER was off slowly and made Up considerable ground to finish gamely. KATHLEEN R forged between horses to reach the lead before going a half mile, held sway to the stretch under steady rating and, though tiring during the late stages, lasted to prevail over MOON BABY. The latter drifted out on the final turn, swerved repeatedly during the stretch run and under pressure was unable to overtake the leader. BOSS JACK failed to respond when shaken-for the drive. STAGGERING IN disposed of NEB JR. with a rush to take command nearing the furlong marker and steadily drew clear under a mild hand ride. NEB JR. gave way to the winner while faltering entering the stretch, but held on willingly to be best of the others. OCCUPATIONAL rallied too late to seriously endanger the leaders. MISS REVOKED tired under punishment. PETER VINEGAR and HONEST INJUN were always between horses. ROYAL IRISH began tardily and lost all chance. DEAL ME IN failed to gain the lead and quit. LEAVENWORTH raced evenly through the stretch without mishap. SMART EDDIE raced wide. BETHS BOMB never threatened. RATION BOOK, pinched back at the start, failed to enter serious contention and came out of the race sore. JACK FUSANO was not unduly persevered with when hopelessly beaten.
