Middleground Serving in Texas LEXINGTON, Ky., May 31.— Middle-ground, the 1950 Kentucky Derby winner who took his sires place at King Ranch in Texas, has completed the 1952 breeding season with good results according to Howard Rouse, manager of the Kentucky annex of the fabulus Kleberg establishment. His sire, Bold Venture, was transferred to the local nursery where he also had a good season. Present plans call for Bold Venture to remain here in Kentucky, while Middle-ground will continue to serve in the Lone Star State.
