Gomez Arrives in Canada OLD WOODBINE PARK, Toronto, Ont., May 8. — Jockey Avelino Gomez returned from Mexico City this morning and was in action on Old Woodbines inaugural card. The crack Cuban reinsman had a big week end at the Hipodromo de las Americas. On Sunday Gomez registered with Asombro in the rich Mexican Derby in addition to two other winners and on Saturday he managed to score with four of his mounts.
