BLUE EMBER was well rated not too far from the pace in the early running and, coming strongly after entering the stretch, got through on the inside of EQUIMORE, but just managed to last to hold AGREED. The latter came strongly nearing the stretch turn and, although racing beyond the middle of the track through the stretch, finished fast. EQUIMORE made a well-timed move nearing the far turn to get to the front and raced gamely after being headed. SUM JEEP was outrun all the way. RED CHARGER was never a contender and passed tiring horses. FIRST BOND tired badly after going six furlongs. MARITZA was never a threat. OCEAN MONEY was a good contender from the start and finished steadily. RUCHE raced very wide entering the front stretch but retained command to the stretch turn approach and then weakened. FIRST SHANNON was forced wide in the stretch but finished well. CHEROKEE PILOT had early speed. BUNNIE PETE was always outrun.
