ANDYS HOPE raced evenly in a good peiformance. LETS MISBEHAVE could not better her position when punished during the stretch run. WILLRUN raced prominently to the final furlong and then weakened.- FLORIDA BRAT was never dangerous. JOYFUL ROSE could not threaten the leaders. EDiCT raced wide. PROUD WAY began sluggishly. THIS SIDE gradually worked his way forward to the stretch, attained command during the drive and lasted to withstand BONAPARTE. The latter, well placed from the start, closed gamely under urging but could not overtake the top one altnough easily best of the others MAHMOUD RELIC gave a good effort and had no excuse. DOCTOR CAP raced with ANTEBABE to the stretch, then failed to stay. GRIMES MILL raced wide. ANN DEL had no mishap. ANTEBABE went to the front early, set the pace to the stretch while engaging DOCTOR CAP. but had nothing left for the drive. BIG RESULT was never prominent and pulled up sore. BIG CAT beqan fast but bore out badly immediately after the start and lost all chance. DOO PLEASE could not keep up. CONDIBIT began slowly. ELITE MARY showed nothing. RUTHS JOHN, a keen factor from the outset, finished willingly under punishment but could not get to the top one, although much the best of the others. KING PUTNAM was unable to threaten the leaders when set down through the stretch. MISS SUN STYLE lacked early speed but made up ground during the stretch run. CHEESE CAKE raced evenly. BECKY SHARP had early foot but failed to stay. MODELAIRE was forced wide entering the stretch and failed to recover. BIG SCOTT showed little. MIGHTY SOUTH was never prominent. PURE PLEASURE, away sluggishly, was hustled to reach serious contention, raced prominently to the stretch but had nothing left for the drive. GRANNYS WILL had early foot but failed to stay. PAP DUNCAN tired after racing well to the stretch. SURE SWEET had no excuse. BLACK DERBY showed little. STYMIE DIER had early speed but bore out during the last quarter mile. GOLDEN APOLLO began fast, saved ground while setting the pace to the stretch, drifted to the middle of the track for the drive and, responding to punishment, held APPEASE NOT safe. The latter, outrun early, moved up determinedly approaching the stretch, bore to the outside during the drive and could not reach the winner, although easily best of the others. WARD BEE saved ground through the stretch but could not threaten the top pair. OCEAN KING, shuffled back immediately after the start, raced fairly well when clear. CHANTER, rank at the post, made a mild bid in the early stretch, then weakened. CALL WILLIE was never dangerous. RAGGYLUG raced well to the stretch but had nothing left for the drive.
