Stewards Rulings FORT MIAMI, Maumee. Ohio, May 8. — The stewards Tuesday issued the following ruling: "Owners Lloyd McCallum, Joseph Hatler and Lloyd Richardson, operating under the Highland Stable assumed name, are suspended and referred to the Ohio State Racing Commission for violation of rule 107 of the rules and regulations of horse racing adopted by the Ohio State Racing Commission. Further, Joseph Hatler is suspended as trainer and it is recommended that his trainer license be revoked. "Debarred in this action are the horses of the Highland Stable, namely. BAY MEADOWS, San Mateo, Calif., May 8. — The Bay Meadows board of stewards handed down the following ruling : "For appearing in the Bay Meadows stable area in an intoxicated condition May 2, 1957, which caused his arrest, groom Lee Randolph Crump is suspended and his case referred to the California Horse Racing Board. During his suspension, groom Lee Randolph Crump is denied the privileges of the grounds." JAMAICA, L. I., N. Y., May 8.— The stewards issued the following ruling here today: "Jockey William A. Peake is suspended for 10 days effective Thursday, May 9, to Saturday, May 18, inclusive, for crossing over at the five-furlong pole and interfering with Countess Tina during: the running of the seventh race on Monday, May 6. "His mount, Bonnet, was disqualified from third position and placed last."
