River Downs Schedules Middle Distance Feature Uncensored, Toys Broke May Vie For Favoritism Off Wins Last Out By W. A. CRUSE RIVER DOWNS, Cincinnatir Ohio, June 3. The Brown County Purse, a mile and 70 yards test for three-year-olds and upward, and listed as the seventh race on the agenda, will serve as the chief offering on Tuesdays eight-race card and eight of the shiftiest middle-distance performers in this sector will vie for top honors. All of the entrants in tomorrows main event have graced the charmed circle this year and among the group who will compete are Toys Broke, who races in the partnership of Mrs. R. E. McConnell and Mrs. John Gore; My Affinity, who is owned by Mr. and Mrs. S. J, Domec; Dictation, who races under the banner of Hodge and Hawkins; Mighty Warrior, who flaunts the silks of Mrs. Leta M. Fulkerson; J. R. Morgans Dan Pat, Sun Coast Stables Politesse, P. L. Gibsons Last Lookout. Uncensored and Toys Broke both scored surprise victories in their last winning efforts here and their odds are likely to be shorter than they were in their winning endeavors. Uncensored eked out a nose verdict over the highly regarded Judy Rounders on Memorial Day after a grueling stretch duel and negotiated the one and one-sixteenth miles in 1:47 and gets in with one pound lighter than ,she carried to victory last time out. Toys Broke, a six-year-old gelding, covered the same distance in her winning essay in 1:47 and closed with a bold rush in that test to register his second victoiy this year. On the basis of Uncensored and Brokes victories they are likely to be well supported in the wagering when starter Bill Simpson dispatches the field for the main event. My Afinity and Dictation merit consideration and will be tough foes for the top pair. The latter turned in a smashing effort to be third behind Marmion and My Affinity last time out and is bound to improve off that spendid effort while My Affinity raced stride for stride with the voctorious Marmion only to be beaten in a photo finish. Mighty Warrior may also have his share of backers in the mutuel wagering and should give a god account of himself. He finished second to Top Brass in his most recent effort and may have benefited enough from that race to be formidable. Politesse, a three-year-old War Jeep filly, will be making her initial appearance at the Queen City course but is nicely rigged at 105 pounds including the promising apprentice E. C. McKinsey.
