Jimmer Accomplishes Fast Workout TimedThree Panels In :33i at Belmont MadeJuvenileSuppIemental; Lil Fella Goes Half Mile In :48 for Same Stakes By WILLIAM C. PHILLIPS BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., June 3. M. N. Goodwins Jimmer made the watches whirl at dazzling speed Monday morning, stepping off three furlongs over the main course in a sizzling :33Ys as a preparation for the 5,000 added Juvenile Stakes, to be renewed at five furlongs down the Widener course here on Wednesday. Jimmer, who was. made a supplementary entry to the Juvenile at an extra cost of 00, is a son of Bolero and Our Bobbie, by Flushing -II. He has just, checked in from Garden State Park where he ran the fastest five furlongs of that meeting to win the first start of his career by seven lengths. His time of :58 that afternoon was three-fifths of a second off the track record established by Pollys Jet, a winner of five straight during his bright juvenile campaign in 1955. Trainer H. H. Goodwin sent Jimmer in the Cherry Hill Stakes for his second start and he set the pace over a slow track before running out of gas in the last furlong, finally finishing seventh. Jaclyn Stables Lil Fella, another New Jersey invader who has been made a supplementary to the Juvenile, was on the slower Belmont training track this morning. Trainer Sid Jacobs sent the Nirgal colt out for a half-mile spin, which he accomplished handily in :48. Lil Fella was an impressive winner of his first race at Garden State, and in his second start he finished third in the Cherry Hill Stakes, closing fastest " of all after meeting early interference. Dedicate Preps for Metropolitan The handicap division also got in a few good training licks over the week end, prepping for the 0,000 added Metropolitan Handicap at one mile that is coming up next Saturday. Mrs. Jan Burkes Dedicate, second in the recent Carter, and certain to be one of the Metropolitan high-weights, was given an easy breeze of :50 over at Jamaica, being hard-held in his limbering up exercise. Happy Hill Farms Kingmaker displayed one of the sharpest works of the handicap ranks, turning in five furlongs over the main track here Sunday morning in a 1 : 00 flat. L. P. Mrs. Herbert Herffs Tudor Era worked a handy five furlongs in 1:00 on the main track- Monday morning. He is a recent arrival from Garden State Park where he was training splendidly. Mrs. Wallace Gilroys Oh Johnny went seven furlongs over the main track Monday morning in 1:25 for his Metropolitan engagement. Over at Aqueduct, Jim Fitz-simmons sent out Wheatley Stables Gray Phantom for an eyen move of 1:15 for six furlongs, and William Fains Ramrod showed improved form working the same distance in a handy 1:14. John M. Gaver continues to get some good drills into Greeritrees Cohoes and Thin Ice, keeping them both busy on Sunday and Monday mornings. Cohoes breezed a half mile over the main course in :49 on Sunday, and came back this morning to breeze a mile in 1:40. Thin Ice breezed three furlongs Sunday, and returned to turn in a quick five furlongs in :59 on Monday.
