Prince Taj Supported Well for Epsom Derby Odds Cut to 21-to-2 Following Stablemates Longchamp Score Special to Daily Racing Form LONDON, England, June 3 Reuters. Aga Khans Prince Taj was well supported for Wednesdays Epsom Derby at todays callover at the Victoria Club here, closing! at 21-to-2, two points down on the price, off ered last Friday. Another colt owned by ! the aged Indian potentate, Al Mabsoot, won a 6,800 race at Longchamp yesterday and this apparently stimulated confidence in Prince Taj as he is considered much superior to his stablemate. The odds against the favorite, Sir Victor Sassoons Crepello, were again extended. He closed at 9-to-4, a quarter point more than offered Friday. Mrs. Elizabeth Grahams Tempest shpd three points to 25-to-l and John McShains Ballymoss was cut from 50s to 40s. The best fancied of the American-owned challengers, Mrs. George Ohrstroms Royau-mont, receded slightly from 100-to-7 to 100-to-6. The fourth Philip Kings Bois de Miel was unchanged at 200-to-l. The biggest odds cut of the day was the 50 per cent slash in the price of J. Abbots Barred Rock, but this still left him a forlorn outsider of the field at 500-to-l. The closing prices were Crepello, 9-to-4; Pipe of Peace, 7-to-l; Prince Taj, 21-to-2; London Cry, 100-to-9; Dputelle, 100-to-8; Apostol, 100-to-7; Royamount, 100-to-6; Messmate and Tempest, 25-to-l; Alcastus, 28-to-l; Palor, 33-to-l; Albergo, Chippendale, Ballymoss and Light Teheran, 30-to-1; Chevastrid, 50-to-l; Eudaemon, Brioche, 66-to-l; Bellborough, Mystic Prince, Hedonist, 100-tol; Bois de Miel, 200-to-l and Barred Rock, 500-to-l.
