GINGER MISS forced the early pace while in hand, came to the outside to wear down PEGGY D. on the final bend and was all out thereafter to hold FAN FLIGHT safe. The latter also saved ground while maintaining a contending position, was forced to come out for the drive and finished-strongly. PEGGY D. gave way .suddenly after showing speed for over a half mile. HENPECK LANE had no apparent excuse in an even effort HERBS GAL passed only tiring horses. RADAR CLIPPER was used up early. GREATER was always far back in a dull effort. PART INDIAN forced the issue to the midstretch where he could not stay with the top one when he made his belated bid. KENSINGTON KID raced wide while wresting command early, came to the inside when clear and gave way suddenly in the late -Stages. LONE PINE LAD made up some ground but could not seriously threaten.
