GINO GRAY forced the early pace, assumed command, saved ground, but was not good enough. SASON, in close quarters while staying with thej pace, was challenging through the stretch. VILLAGE BEAU lacked racing room on the inside, was steered to the outside, but was unable to menace. WHIFFLETREE rushed boldly, then faltered. HAVING FUN went evenly.
